Westfield gets Tough

Westfield Industries is the world leading in market share for short-line grain handling equipment. In early 2011, Sherpa was engaged to create a themed campaign that elevated Westfield’s brand message and overall image.

The end result was the CAMA award winning “Tough Like Me” campaign. This campaign focused on the long-lasting, enduring quality of Westfield’s products.

One of the most important tools in Westfield’s communications toolbox is its website. Sherpa was challenged with creating a more engaging website design that transformed the Westfield Website while leveraging all the product data from the old website.

To add a layer of complication – the new Website had to be driven by a legacy content management system that drives ALL of AGI’s divisions. We now had an outlier with a completely new set of Cascading style sheets!

The complication didn’t end there, with the dramatic changes in browser, smartphone and tablet technology since the last design was launched Sherpa committed itself to making the new website compatible with browsers from IE7 to IE9 and BlackBerry OS6 and iOS 5.

We are thrilled to say we hit a home run! The new website meets all of Westfield’s requirements and then some. Moreover, our introduction and integration of a significant amount of streaming video really helps make the website more engaging. All videos are hosted and streamed from a cloud service, leaving our web servers to do the heavy lifting for the database.
