Virtual Reality Soothing Children in Hospitals

Virtual Reality (VR) is where you take a virtual world and fill it with virtual elements. While it is mostly used in gaming, there are a variety of applications for VR technologies outside of gaming.

In this case, VR is being used by a British Columbia Children’s Hospital to ease the stress of ER visits for children.

CBC News had an inside look at how Peace Arch Hospital is taking advantage of new technology to help children with their ​time at the hospital.
