Account Manager

Account Manager - Winnipeg, Manitoba

Your Responsibilities:
• Ability to be an advocate for both the customer and Sherpa, finding balance for both parties' interests 
• Strong communication and people skills
• Have a solid business acumen and a strong technical foundation
• Ability to gauge and adapt to changing stakeholder expectations
• Understand what success means to the customer and envision the end results
• Possess a decisive character to confidently and quickly arrive at results while not having all the necessary information at hand
• Manage projects from inception to completion and/or assisting as a team player on a larger project
• Act as a liaison between the account, design, digital marketing and programming teams to glean timely project updates and to deliver instructions and
directions at critical junctures
• Assist in project estimation, project management (including budget and timelines) and proposal writing
• Possess a number of relationships and experiences that will aid in the development of net new business, and or increasing share of wallet with existing customers
• The ability to devise marketing solutions that are inherently measurable
• Use tools to review available data to provide insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
• Occasionally Sherpas have to work long hours and may have to travel to various events, meetings and client locations.

Other Duties as Required:
• Assist with Quality Assurance testing
• Assist Account Managers, Salespeople and Digital Marketing team members with tasks as requested

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in marketing/communications or commerce
• Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience, ideally within an Agency environment and/or Sales & Marketing department
• Proficiency at managing the executional requirements of print, direct mail and digital marketing projects
• Familiarity with direct marketing and online industry best practices and ongoing industry developments
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
• Ability to work under pressure, and quickly assimilate large quantities of information
• Detail-oriented
• Creative writing skills – e.g. ad headlines, social media
• An understanding of SEO, SEM, SERP and CRM
• An optimistic attitude and a willingness to learn
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team skills
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• An understanding of the creative process, application development, web development and cloud services in general
• Willingness to try new work and learn new technology. If there is a period where you have bandwidth you will be asked to assist the other Account Team members with various tasks.

Digital Marketing

Inbound Marketing Specialist - Remote work-from-anywhere, Cananda

Your Responsibilities:
• Build and manage a rich content marketing engine that attracts a qualified audience to our clients’ owned properties (including blog posts, case studies, lead magnets, webinars, infographics, etc.).
• Grow new leads, including marketing-qualified leads, by converting site traffic through calls-to-action, landing pages, and lead generation content (including offers).
• Map out and build the optimal workflows for content delivery across all areas of the funnel.
• Optimize our clients’ marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
• Establish closed-loop analytics with our clients’ sales teams to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our
process to convert more and more leads.

• Demonstrated ability to consistently attract and convert leads through cross-channel content marketing efforts.
• Experience in mapping out customer journeys, and pairing messaging to specific moments in various parts of the funnel.
• Proficiency in marketing automation used to generate traffic, convert visitors into leads, and then nurture them (using dynamic workflows) into converted customers.
• An entrepreneurial and self-starting drive to get things done.
• Proficiency with end-to-end marketing campaigns, from ad creation all the way through to measured conversion.

Paid Marketing Specialist - Remote work-from-anywhere, Canada

Your Responsibilities:
• Manage the setup and ongoing management of paid campaigns with a goal of decreasing cost-per-conversion, increasing conversion rates and driving leads/sales for our clients.
• Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports.
• Analyzing campaigns beyond surface level metrics to find meaningful nuggets that move the needle for our clients.
• Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower our cost-per-acquisition.
• Work with our Digital Marketing team to recommend spend, channel selection and weighting for various campaigns.
• Complete reporting that outlines what’s working and what’s not for our clients. Deliver relevant insights from campaign performance and provide valuable recommendations to implement.
• Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs.

• An affinity towards data analysis and a commitment to continually optimize and improve paid campaigns in order to get the best results for our clients.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager and setting up campaign tracking that is robust and reliable.
